Jim Donovan is a distinguished leader in the Contract Manufacturing Organization (CMO) sector, with over 30 years of expertise in biopharmaceutical operations, manufacturing, and finance. As Vice President of Pfizer CentreOne, Jim has optimized Pfizer's 3rd party global supply chain, ensuring efficient, safe, and timely delivery of drug products to patients.

Jim's career at Pfizer began as a chemical engineer in operations, where he spent 16 years at the Brooklyn site, gaining valuable experience in various roles of increasing responsibility. After earning his MBA in Finance, he transitioned to manufacturing finance roles to gain additional experience before returning to operations.

He then led global technical support and new technology implementation for OSD sites in in the global Pfizer manufacturing network; followed by a business development role in Pfizer CentreSource. Jim's site leadership experience includes transitioning an OTC medical device operation to GMP standards, doubling sales and expanding commercial market access. As well as, rapidly implementing capacity enhancement at a consumer OTC site and contemporizing  processes at a sterile fill finish cartridge assembly manufacturing site.

Jim holds a BS in Chemical Engineering from Manhattan University and an MBA in Finance from Fordham University. His strategic and collaborative approach, while ensuring timely medication delivery, has solidified his reputation as a trusted leader in the CMO field with a patient-first mindset.
